Heaps of work is put into making music videos. I wouldn't know how much exactly, because unfortunately I don't have the money, voice or reputation to make one, but I'm pretty sure it is a lot. Celebrities get judged by them: Lady Gaga uses her videos to show what an artistic failure she is, Estelle shows off her dismal dance moves and Disney starlets use them to advertise their adorably repulsive and chaste image.

OBVIOUSLY, the most important element is the outfit of the celebrity. It's what remains after the song becomes an irritating drone naturalized by it being played a thousand too many times. That gorgeous green dress is my favourite outfit featured in any music video- it's one of the ones Rihanna wears in SOS. Tabloid Style snapped it up and started selling B-Grade copies, but I still worship it.
